Our Mission
To give rowing a visibility in the LGBTIQ+ sport community, to train and compete together at Swiss and international competitions, and to have a lot of fun along the way

It all began in 2019, as gay rowers from various Zurich clubs met for the first – meanwhile legendary -“aperows”, which are get-togethers consisting in rowing on the Zurich lake and/or dinner in one of the club houses. Since then, our team kept growing and since early 2022 trainings are organized every week. We are open to anyone that shares our passion and supports our values of diversity, inclusiveness, fun and active lifestyle.
